Nevertheless, accepting the role of a lesbian in the movie would surely seem to signify her approval of that sexual identity, also confirming that deduction her reply: ‘In 2015, the point should be: To whom is it important?’

Totally absorbed in the movie. Mind, heart, and spirit.
How can she not be impacted? The power of actors
and actresses to influence is tremendous!

For what actor or actress could reasonably and conscientiously accept and portray a person whose sexual identity, lifestyle, speech, and actions they fundamentally and vigorously oppose? “In my mind, heart, and soul, I strongly reject profanity, vulgar, erotic speech, promiscuity, adultery, debauchery of all kinds, pornography, appearing completely naked in public, and unnatural sexual intimacy. But, since acting is my chosen life occupation, and I have the necessary talent for success, I can do all those things in theaters and films without qualms, personal guilt, or any implication I approve of them. And it does not bother me that my spouse and children see me do it for they know that is not the real me.”

Is that really so? Sounds like full-flowered hypocrisy to me. Pardon my directness. A state of being and living that could only be praised in the mostly fiction-fantasy worlds of the entertainment arts. Looks like you would need to reject roles incompatible with your ideals and moral criteria or opt for a different occupation that would not compromise them.

But who am I to challenge the countless smart, talented, wise people who keep the monster entertainment industries humming for the hundreds of millions around the entire globe whose lives are powerfully keyed into entertainment? Anyway, we can watch all that stuff, even the most depraved and violent, though not approving it and without being impacted negatively by it. But is that really so? Or are most of us hypocrites too? Preachers and priests included.

The “WHY” of such worldwide admiration and influence by a person in her profession of acting is a subject meriting serious, objective analysis. Of course, she would not have that admiration nor those powers if people did not watch her movies, theatrical presentations, etc.

Cate Blanchett and her husband Andrew Upton founded an independent film and television production company they named “DIRTY FILMS.” With regard to vision, wholesomeness, and positive, upbuilding traits of all kinds, need I say more? “DIRTY!” Not clean. Among the “Dirty Films” the company has produced is “CAROL.” Released in 2015, it grossed over $42 million on a budget of $11 million. A movie about two women who fall in love with each other and establish a lesbian relationship. It was said to be “the best-reviewed film of 2015.” By whom “reviewed?” Superb acting and production certainly enhance the message, whether good or bad, and this is a film that promotes lesbianism. Citizens of this world have paid a total of $42 million to see that film. Have they become better world citizens by seeing it? Better people in their mind, heart, soul, and spirit? “To whom is it important?” asks the actress Cate Blanchett, echoing her the cadres of women and men who openly identify themselves as bisexual, lesbian, or homosexual, admiring her or, at least, agreeing with her. Clearly making it known that it is not 

important to them what gender “he, or she, or that, or it, or whatever” chooses to be. “Not mattering at all,” let it be noted, the obvious, unmistakable, natural, biological, sexual identity of the person.

Those who make up the “To-whom-is-it-important, it’s-not-important Generation” are occupied in aggressively spreading a “World Culture of the Not Important,” the general vision covering much more than sex and gender. The signs and banners of this culture display their slogans, beliefs, philosophies, lifestyles, and visions for the present and future.

Among what is not important for them we identify the following:

The origin of human beings, whether by pure chance, through the lineage of the great apes such as chimpanzees, as a creation by extraterrestrials, as beings engendered by gods and goddesses, or whatever the forces and fortuities might have been.

The natural, physical, sexual identity of the human born of a woman is not important in the context of deciding what gender one would like to be. “…of a woman,” no human having been naturally born, to date, “of a male human.”

Moral codes are purely elective on a personal level and can include: The recreational use of drugs and alcohol that results in altered, unnatural, dangerous, states of being, even fatal addiction and drunkenness. Also, pornography, public nudity, promiscuity, serial fornication and adultery, abortion for any and all reasons even up to the time of birth, orgies of emotional and physical display, depraved, sadistic entertainment, etc. “If it pleases you, do it! It’s your life. Nobody else should care. It should not be important to them.”

It does not matter what lifestyle you choose. The rest of humanity should respect your choice.

Beliefs and religious practices are not important.

As a matter of fact, the philosophy of “IT DOESN’T MATTER WHICH or WHAT” has strongly impacted multitudes of religious people of all kinds. For example, great numbers preach and even sing…

“It’s not important which church you attend. Just give me your hand and you will be my brother.”

“Bible doctrine is not important. What is important is to be ‘Christ centered’.”

The ever-more popular “Community churches” owe their existence to this perception of “Bible doctrine,” in the face of numerous Bible texts that emphasize the importance and necessity of “sound teaching,” “sound doctrine,” “the doctrine of Christ,” etc., warning against false gospels, false doctrine, and “doctrines of devils,” etc. 1 Timothy 4:1-4, 8, 16; Titus 2:1; Hebrews 6:1; 2 Juan 1:9-11, Galatians 1:6-10; 2 Timothy 4:3-4, and many more.

“Belief in God, Jesus Christ, and the Bible is not the only option if you need to believe in something or some being. You can believe in Gaia, Karma, Yoga, Budda, Mother Earth, Mother Goddess, Mahimata, Pachamama, the Celestial Mother, or any other being that makes you feel good.”

The past does not matter, nor
perhaps even the future, or very little. Only “the moment of today.”

Without a shadow of a doubt, this attitude of “Not important! Doesn’t matter. To whom is it important? Who cares?” is highly contagious for very, very many people. Especially pleasing and delighting teenagers and young adults all around the globe. As also a percentage notably higher of artists and entertainers of all categories than the population in general. It manifests itself in expressions such as, paraphrasing:

“Everything in life is relative.”

“Each and every person has the right to form and pursue his own personal likes and pleasures, without any recriminations or penalties by third parties.”

“Tolerance and universal inclusion without discrimination of any kind should be the goals of the whole global population.”

“No one should criticize, rebuke, sermonize, or condemn any person for his or her lifestyle no matter what it is; his, her, or its sexual or gender identity; religious or spiritual beliefs, how he or her dresses or expresses him or herself publicly, etc.”.

In the world of today, these four affirmations are common in the new generations. A very, very popular philosophy for life.

NAKED SECULARISM and an uneducated, self-serving INCREDULITY stand out among its social-philosophical-religious-spiritual fruits.

I confess, somewhat chagrinned, that, at times, I have allowed myself to be seduced by that insidious philosophy, particularly when accosted by a prejudiced rejection of my persona and works, fanatical, aggressive disagreement, one or another totally groundless defamations, fatuous arguments, etc. Maybe forming in my own mind and heart certain thoughts and sentiments preceded by an expression such as: “Whatever! To each his own! Who are you to make that judgment? Let me be!” All though, with very rare exceptions, not audibly expressing them.

“I don’t care that it is not important to you!”

“I don´t care if you listen to me, or not! Read what I write, or not!”

“Your opinions, ideas, interpretations, advice, contributions are not important to me.”

Only then to repent of such thoughts. Because, sincerely, all these matters really are important to me!

You are important to me! Every soul is important to me. These subjects, well, they are profoundly important to me! So much so that I feel duty-bound to prepare articles such as this one I am sharing with you. Despite your perhaps not being grateful to me, accusing me of “meddling in the lives of others,” as well as the fact that it cost me no little amount of effort on several levels and that this is not an easy, pleasing subject, rather conflictive and hard. To the which I could respond that I did not originate the philosophy of “It’s not important. Who should it be important to?” regarding “sexual identity, gender variables,” and the rest of such subjects brought to the forefront in the whole world arena by alphabet humans (if you get what mean).

If alphabet people would keep intimate, private sexual matters to themselves and not publicize and politicize them, influencing immature minds, even those of little children, to imitate them, and demanding public, official approval of their chosen lifestyles, I would not even be writing an essay like this one. Since they do the opposite and are but a small percentage of the general population, can they expect the great majority to remain dully and indifferently silent while they noisily and belligerently promote the unnatural genders they are so bold as to publicly glory in? If we do, a day of reckoning will also surely come for us.

Why should these matters be so important to me? You do not want to have anything to do with me? Do not want to be “important” to me? Do not want me to approach you not even by means of the impersonal Internet, calling attention to modern philosophies of life and moral criteria that have me very deeply concerned? Why do I do it, trying to with humility, gentleness, and respect? Why am I “deeply concerned?”

Why? Simply because the fantastically powerful, intelligent Creator of the universe has made it known that these very same matters are very important to him! Charging his faithful human “children” on planet Earth with the task of communicating to all human beings his divine design for each and everyone, invoking his power and 

authority in his role of “Supreme Creator” as his right to give the order.

Yes, I understand you may not believe in him, as I myself did at one time seriously question his existence and the authority of the Bible. However, a deeper, fuller investigation led me to conviction and a personal faith independent of family and teachers.

So then, dear reader, my approaching you and my analysis of the “stars” and sympathizers who publicly promote movements such as that of “Gender Variables,” are due, precisely, to that personal faith and his “divine charge.” However much those two words may irritate you if your spirit does not appreciate their origin and significance. Because I do identify myself, as do more than a billion people alive today, as one of the “children of God,” trusting not to deceive myself in that regard. I have, thankfully, the right and liberty to do it, just as the “Gender Variable Movement” and the rest of the alphabet people have the right and liberty to publicly identify themselves, socially, sexually, philosophically, and politically, as they so desire. If they have the right and liberty to publicly proclaim their concepts of sexuality, lifestyles, moral criteria, etc., thus influencing multitudes of people, so also do I have the right and liberty to publicly proclaim, without reprisals or penalties, differing concepts, lifestyles, moral criteria, etc.

Thank God and truly enlightened political leaders for this absolutely precious liberty! May it be assured for a long time to come, though certain signs around us and on the horizon indicate otherwise.

How can I know these matters are greatly important to God the Creator? Because the Bible makes it clear in many texts. A partial list is provided at the end of this article.

Why should the Bible be taken seriously in this context? Among the principal reasons: Because of the many prophecies fulfilled or being fulfilled. Their complete, detailed fulfillment makes them indisputable evidence in support of the validity and authority of the Bible.

In these brief answers to the three questions, behold the reasons for what I am doing. The motive that impels me to say that the philosophy of “It´s not important. It doesn’t matter. To whom is it important?” applied to all the subjects we are covering, is fundamentally defective, mistaken, irresponsible, essentially hollow, egotistic by nature, and damaging to every human being in all aspects of his or her existence.

For, logically, no woman, group of women, social-sexual movement whatever its constituency; no court, government agency, politician, or body of politicians, is invested with the inherent authority to emit declarations about what has to be “important or not important, acceptable or not acceptable,” in terms of moral, sexual, spiritual, religious conduct, for me and the rest of the human beings on the face of this planet Earth. Unilaterally adjudicating to themselves the right and authority to identify “what is or is not important, acceptable or not acceptable,” then proceeding to set up guidelines and parameters to enforce their declarations. Even legislating penalties for anyone who refuses to obey them.

The only one who has the innate right to determine such matters for the whole human race is the Supremely Intelligent Being who conceived us in his mind before anyone of us existed and created us “in his image and likeness.” “Male and female,” without a hint of other variable genders. Explaining it all with simple, clear words and a kind, loving tone. For he 

loves all human beings, has good intentions for us, and wants all of us to occupy, after this earthly life, an eternal, new world Paradise! Genesis 1:26-28; Hebrews 2:5; 2 Peter 3:9-15; Revelation 22:1-5, and many more.

Well then, how recklessly bold are the young actresses, and some not so young, who take advantage of public platforms and their popularity among masses of admirers to openly and defiantly contravene the guidelines and parameters established by the Supremely Intelligent Creator by whose power and will they breathe, act, and are! They also speak out, bind, unbind, do, and undo as if they themselves were powerful, know-it-all goddesses, doing it not because the Creator God could not silence them in an instant but because he allows each human being to elect the road he or she wishes to follow.

By the way, Mr. Alex Hawgood, author of the article published by Yahoo and the clause “…a perfect sentiment for the moment of today,” you who lives in the “moment of today,” what authority do you have to characterize as “a perfect sentiment for the moment of today” what is no more than your very own personal opinion regarding these subjects under the magnifying glass?

Though you recognize it not, above and beyond your “moment of today” is the Immortal, Supremely Intelligent Creator God, and also the ETERNITY he commands, as he does all “the times and occasions,” your concepts and opinions to the contrary. Given the context, these I would classify as “very immature,” formed, so I reason from the circumstances of your comment, by passions, fantasies, visions, and agendas perhaps predominantly of a sensual, sexual nature.

To all these considerations responds my own decision to place you and the “stars” you support in their varying gender identities, as well as their pronouncements in defense of them and their actions in their implementation, in the second rank of modern-day protagonists who are pushing humanity and their habitation Earth to a very 

sad end the opposite of the “ideal world all of you envision of universal libertinism and unconditional inclusion.” That “very sad end” being, if I must spell it out for you, eternal perdition. An “end” you choose; not me, nor the Creator God of all life, for there is an option, an out, a way of escape, and we sincerely desire it for you.

We earnestly hope you will understand in time, repent, and be immersed in water for the forgiveness of your sins, aligning your thinking and actions with the noble designs the Creator set for all of us humans before he created the first couple, Adam and Eve. Imbuing not only them but all of us with “his image and likeness.”

The following Bible texts, examples of scores of similar ones, will set you on your way to life eternal. Acts 17:24-32; 2:37-47; 16:25-34; Romans 6:3-7; 10:8-17; 12:1-2.

How can I know these matters are greatly important to God the Creator? Because the Bible makes it clear in many texts.

“Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Additional relevant texts: Romans 1:18-32; Genesis 1:26-28. Chapters 18 and 19 of Genesis relate the destruction of Sodom, Gomorra, and the rest of the cities of the river Jordan plains because of their sexual abominations. Numerous texts of the Old Testament and the New reference that event, notable among them Jude 1:7 because of its language similar to Romans 1:18-32.
