"Therefore, holy and beloved, as the elect of God, put on hearts of mercies, KINDNESS, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering." Colossians 3:12

This elderly barber, perhaps retired, offers haircuts for the price of a single HUG!

Friendship, consolation, and camaraderie know no color.

This police officer showed great kindness, sympathy, and compassion when he handcuffed himself to a young woman contemplating suicide, that she might understand how important he considered her life to be. No doubt he would have urged her to rethink her own evaluation of her own life, opening her mind to ways out of her crises of heart and soul.

"For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. But after the KINDNESS and LOVE of God our Savior toward man appeared, He saved us not by works of righteousness which we had done, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration (baptism, immersion in water), and by the renewing of the Holy Spirit." Titus 3:3-5

Many caring, compassionate, and kind people made this impaired boy´s wishes come true.

"Oh! Sir, wait a moment. Your shoelace is untied and you might trip over it. Let me tie it for you." And the grocery store employee does just that!. What thoughtfulness, kindness, and consideration. Little acts of kindness that the favored person treasures and may remember forever, with a smile that makes him or her feel warm inside.

Very generous of heart and kind was the person who decided to put new tires on a stranger´s truck because he noted they were really needed. With just one request.

5 "And besides this, using all diligence, add to your faith virtue, and to virtue knowledge,

​

6 and to knowledge temperance, and to temperance patience, and to patience godliness,

​

7 and to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness charity.

​

8 For if these things be in you and abound, they make you that ye shall be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Some people in the crowd decided a wheelchair fan should also be able to see the show and hoisted him above the heads of all!

"Barbarous people show no little KINDNESS." 

Not the people on the left, but some natives on the island of Malta, in the Mediterranean.

"And the barbarous people showed us no little KINDNESS, for they kindled a fire and received us every one, because of the present rain and because of the cold." Acts 28:2

This KINDNESS was shown to the apostle Paul and those on board with him when they were shipwrecked on the island of Malta on their way to Rome. 

This dry cleaning business helps the unemployed for free!

The man helping the elderly lady get down the steps with her shopping bags and little dog missed his train because of this act of kindness, but the dear lady might have fallen and, after all, another train will be along.

A homeless man receives the unusual gift of a Kindle. The author of this thoughtful and generous kindness says: "I gave this homeless man, Paul, my Kindle after learning that he had been reading the same book over and over. He hasn´t put it down for days."

Meet Dan. Every Wednesday and Thursday, he heads to local Cancer Centers and buys a cup of coffee for each patient, nurse, doctor, and everyone in between, straight from his own pocket.

The kindness and good works of some paramedics. The person who took this photograph says: "An elderly man in my neighborhood had a heart attack while shoveling his driveway. Paramedics took him to the hospital then returned to finish shoveling his driveway for him."
