to the LAST DAY of TIME

Looking back at planet Earth in the
20th and 21st centuries

Moral, social, philosophical, and spiritual events
and prevailing currents on planet Earth in the
time of the 20th and 21st centuries.

Considering what happened in the 20th century, and what is taking place today in the 21st, what can we expect from this day forward to the LAST DAY of TIME?

Cordially, I invite you to accompany me into the FUTURE and stand with me, together with other valiant souls, on an observation platform set up for us on the LAST DAY of TIME!

To contemplate, from that strategic point, events transpiring and currents in motion during the 21st century on the spectacular blue planet called Earth. And even look a little farther back to the time covered by the previous 20th century.

For me, it is fascinating to transport myself, mentally and spiritually, to distant places and times, both in the past and in the future.

Oh, of course, the here and now is the most important, but the knowledge and perspectives my trips to the past and the future provide me throw much light on my present.

I do not consider myself to be a dreamer who lives mostly in imaginary worlds and times, but a realistic explorer in search of eternal truths and realities for my existence.

Finding some of them in the present; others, in places and dimensions beyond those that
frame my few years on the Blue Planet.

 May I invite you to explore with me?

Amicably, I invite you, mature man, mature lady, young man, young woman. Do you dare?

To leave your daily, accustomed surroundings, whatever their nature may be. To step away from your familiar world, your routines, the confining limitations placed on you by others or those you place on yourself.

To come out of yourself, that is, metaphorically, out of your physical body.

To leave behind, though it be for only a brief time, your perceptions, illusions, convictions, and lifestyle, situating yourself in a place and dimension that might flood your mind with vistas, visions, and facts truly transforming.

Do you dare? What! Will you always be satisfied with your status quo? With less knowledge and understanding than you could have?

Mr. Atheist, Madam Atheist, Miss Atheist, are you so confident and bold as to go with us?

And you, ladies and gentlemen, so genuinely secular in almost all aspects of your existence, absolutely caught up in the here and now, will you dare come with us?

Precisely during these days of my earthly residence, while reflecting on the present and what is to come, it occurred to me to transport myself to the “Last Day of Time” and contemplate, from that intensely dramatic scenario, our world in its actual frenetic evolvement.

And these reflections gave birth in my humble head to the graphical visualization at the beginning of this little conversation with you. Would you please examine it carefully?

The narrow platform at the bottom of the image represents the twenty-four hours of the Last Day of Time. Are you with me? There we accommodate ourselves to look very intently at our great round home -well, ever so slightly oval- out there in space.

             fact, four, maybe five thousand years ago? Job 26:7. 
                   Turning completely on its axis every twenty-four hours
                    and flying around its Sun at 25,000 miles an hour
                     (40,200 kilometers an hour).

                  How marvelous! How beautiful! What symmetry! Such
                 powerful forces that maintain it in exact orbit 
               millennium after millennium! What a splendid design!
            Don’t you think, dear Darwinian Evolutionist?

Do I hear laughter and ridicule?

“Crazy! Believing in fantasies about angels, apocalyptic trumpets, and the end of this world, in these days when we humans have an inhabited International Space Station, functioning robots on Mars, are creating a One-World society, culture, and economy, are extending our lives, including the quality of them, through astounding medical advances. And so much, much more!”

Okay. As for me, my trips to many places and times of the past…

…to the world of Noah and the time of the Great Flood,

…to the plains of the river Jordan where Sodom, Gomorrah, and other nearby cities, all severely infected by the same type of unnatural conduct, were destroyed by fire from heaven,

…to very ancient Egypt, the Red Sea, the lands of Sinai and those of Arabia in the time when the Israelites were, astonishingly, freed from slavery to mighty Egypt,

…to the 1st century of our age when the great, cosmopolitan city of Jerusalem and its elegant temple were totally laid waste by the Romans,

…and trips to many other places and times…

…I say, such trips have powerfully convinced me that what I first saw through written accounts was not just mythology, fairy tales, or religious concoctions, but real events whose veracity is upheld by indisputable, empirical evidence.

Events that took place exactly just as they had been prophetically projected!

Consequently, I do not quickly, and derisively, laugh off prophetical projections made in the 1st century by that Galilean called Jesus Christ, as well as by the apostles chosen by him, mocking, and demeaning them.

My gentle advice: Be careful, beloved friend, to not ridicule and reject prematurely, before obtaining the knowledge necessary for sound, wise judgments! Lest you later feel foolish when you find out you were quite mistaken. As has happened to me, embarrassingly, on not a few occasions.

Returning to the matter of the Seventh Angel and the Seventh Trumpet, I take very seriously the information made public in Revelation 10:5-7.

“And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, and swore by him that liveth forever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.”

NO MORE TIME after the SOUNDING of the SEVENTH TRUMPET!

No more “temporary.”

“…for what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.” 
2 Corinthians 4:18

No more temporal.

The temporal will have come to an end. There will be no more days! The material universe dimension of time is absorbed in ETERNITY.

How stupendous! Time, with so many limiting restrictions, will be no longer!

Do you grasp it? The wonder of it? Do
you appreciate the astounding greatness
of this coming reality? IMMORTALITY 
takes over from a brief mortal existence

on temporal Earth! That is, for those who “seek… immortality.”

Seems that most do not want it. To be sure, it is a DIVINE REWARD only for those who qualify “by patiently doing good”. Romans 2:6-7. That is reasonable, don’t you think?

The LAST DAY of TIME will be the day when the Seventh Angel sounds his trumpet!

Logically, then, the Seventh Angel should be present in the scenario of the Last Day of Time.

That is where you and I are also present, having arrived, as we have, at this platform in the dimension of time seeking orientation about the approaching of planet Earth, with its great cargo of humans, to this DAY, the last of all earthly days.

In the heavens, to the right of the platform, a large clock ticks off the seconds, minutes, and hours
of the Last Day of Time.

Once that Day has ended, there will be no more seconds, minutes, hours, or days!

ETERNITY will be the new dimension for the soul that once occupied a temporal, fleshly body on planet Earth. 2 Corinthians 5:1-10

At this moment, as we situate ourselves on the observation platform, our purpose is not to fix our attention on the tremendous events that will take place on the very Last Day of Time, subject for other images and analysis. Rather, it is to identify and examine the Events and Currents in motion on the Earth of the 20th and 21st centuries that move the planet, with its multitudinous, diverse human population, to the time-space before the Last Day.

That particular “time-space” is a reference to the “little while” when Satan, loosed after being chained in the abyss for a thousand years, will come forth once again to deceive the nations and make full-fledged war against the followers of the Most High God. Revelation 20:1-10; Daniel 7:16-28

How much time transpires between where we are in the 21st century and the very Last Day of Time?

A few years at the most? Ten or twenty years? A century, or more than one?

I do not know. Do you have any idea?

What I do know is that the Creator of Time has set the times or periods by his own authority. Acts 1:7

Nevertheless, it has pleased him to not leave us totally without knowledge of the times, for he does provide us, according to the declaration of Jesus Christ himself, with “signs of the times” which, as he explains, we should be able not only to see but also understand and apply for our own good, especially in spiritual ways. Matthew 16:1-4

He even chides those who miss them. Paraphrasing: “You can look at the sky and clouds, and determine if it is going to be fair, cloudy, or stormy, but you can not discern the signs of the times.” Adding some stinging observations about the mental-spiritual state of such people.

Thanks to the goodness and wisdom of the Creator, we are given a substantial amount of guidance on the intriguing subject of “the times”.

For example, in the 1st century, the apostle Paul reminded the Christians in Thessalonica that they were not in ignorance with regard to “the times.” He wrote:

“Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers and sisters, you do not need to have anything written to you. For you yourselves know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 

“When they say, ‘There is peace and security,’ then sudden destruction will come upon them, as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and there will be no escape! 

“But you, beloved, are not in darkness, for that day to surprise you like a thief; for you are all children of light and children of the day; we are not of the night or of  darkness.” 1 Thessalonians 5:1-5

What do you say, friend? Do you “know very well” the times? Concerning them, are you in light or in darkness? Questions I also ask myself.

By the way, while we are here on the platform of the Last Day of Time, are you aware that over there on planet Earth, in the third decade of the third millennium, the slogan of great multitudes of the unreligious is, precisely: “Peace, peace, peace, and security! World Peace and

Security for a One-World People, with One Culture, and One Economy!”

Maybe, just maybe, the world is much closer to the Last Day of Time than we might imagine!

Back there in the 1st century, almost 2,000 years ago, the same apostle Paul taught that the Second Coming of Christ was NOT imminent; that before his return there would take place a great “apostasy” (falling away) from the “sound doctrine” of Christ (2 John 9-11; Hebrews 6:1), the “lawless one,” or “man of sin,” being its leader. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12

History most certainly shows that such a turning away from “sound doctrine” to fables and traditions of men began even in the time of the apostles (2 Timothy 4:1-5), expanding rapidly and turning ever more fearfully cruel and barbaric during the Medieval Age.

Additionally, multiple prophecies across the New Testament establish temporal parameters for not a few events that would take place during the Christian Age (Common Era) before, at the conclusion of the “little while,” this Age would come to a climatic end on the Last Day of Time.

Now, regarding the time-space between the 21st century and the Last Day, can we human beings shorten it or lengthen it?

Standing here with you on this observation platform and looking at the Earth back there in time, it seems plausible to me that we might. How? Principally, by our mindsets, attitudes, and conduct.

Shorten it by purposely identifying aggressively with moral and spiritual philosophies which, in the name of unconditional tolerance, inclusion, peace, security, and prosperity, promote lifestyles contrary to nature, common sense, an innate knowledge of right and wrong, and stated ideals of the Creator God for human beings. While at the same time violently opposing, persecuting, even killing any who dare to disagree.

Lengthen it by boldly siding with moral and spiritual ideals in harmony with nature, common sense, and the declared will of the Creator God. Including religious freedom and freedom of speech, without reprisals. While at the same time, recognizing the right of those who wish to live otherwise to do just that. But, never physically persecuting them, nor destroying their properties. In a word, loving your enemies!

Of course, the Creator has his own, inviolate plan for the material universe and humanity. It

could, therefore, be highly presumptuous for any humans to think they might influence his timetable at all.

What mindsets, attitudes and conducts do we discern over there in the multitudes of our fellow human beings residing on the Earth in this 21st century?

Some that alarm us? Few or many?

Enough of the good to slow the transition of Earth and its masses to the highly conflictive “little while” leading up to the Last Day?

Or so much of the negative and bad that the movement will accelerate with shocking rapidity?

Respected friend, is it possible you yourself, by your very own secular mindset, attitudes, and conduct, are pushing planet Earth, with its billions of inhabitants, through the time-space continuum toward the Last Day?

If you are but do not wish to be, you may just 
stop, do an about-face, and align your thinking
and conduct with those of the Supreme Being who has absolute power over all time, space, and life.

If you have the strength of intellect and will to do that, he asks you to be immersed in water as proof of your decision. When you take that step, he will forgive you for your past opposition to his will and ways, granting you the high privilege and honor of becoming a citizen of his Eternal, Spiritual Kingdom. Hebrews 12:28
